How To Make Your Own Luck

Today on St. Patrick’s Day, everyone celebrates the Luck of the Irish. On the other 364 days each year, the rest of us (without this Irish heritage) seem to lament the few who are always lucky, catching big breaks out of nowhere and being in the right place at the right time. However, the reality is simple – few of us are actually luckier than anyone else; some people are just more prepared than others. There’s an old saying that, “when the student is ready, the teacher will emerge.” The same principle applies to opportunity: the more prepared you are, the more “lucky” you get. So, how can you get the luck of the Irish on your side, year round? Start doing the things you need to do NOW, so that when the opportunity comes up, you’re ready to seize it.
