MarketWatch First Take: EBay finds success after PayPal divorce
EBay Inc. reported slightly better third-quarter results than Wall Street was expecting Wednesday, fueling a surge of optimism among investors that perhaps the company will be just fine without its faster-growing PayPal payments business.
