Microsoft has been through an immense period of change. New CEO Satya Nadella has been widely lauded and knocked in equal measure, but he is the man now most regularly credited with swinging the big ship around towards open source and cloud-based delivery. Whether previous CEO Steve Ballmer ‘didn’t really get open and cloud’ in quite the same way is a matter of opinion, but Nadella has set the current course with fervour.
