If Software Is Eating The World, Then Open Source Will Chew It Up (And Swallow)

Software is eating the world, at least that’s what people say. Actually web pioneer Marc Andreessen said it back in 2011 and Forbes contributor Steve Denning echoed it back in 2014 as well. As an evangelist for all things software application development, these kinds of proclamations go a long way to providing some validation for a good portion of a life spent talking about code. But where’s the beef here?
